PRIMARY PILGRIMS Jackson Primary School students pictured in the foreground
above, donned in homemade Thanksgiving Day duds. In the background, Primary School
students are in the process of filling their lunch plates with turkey, dressing and all the

A Visitor Here
The Butts Cos. Jaycees
were honored with the
presence of two very high
people in the Jaycee organi
zation at their last meeting,
November 13th. They were
Bob Rushton, Georgia State
President, and “Bunny”
Adcock, National vice-Presi
dent assigned to the Dixie
Institute.
They were here to give the
Jaycees an orientation about
Jayceeism. Butts Cos. Jay
cees had many good remarks
about the speaking ability of
each, many saying that
“Bunny” was the best
speaker they had ever heard.
The Georgia Jaycees are
having by far the best year in
their history, at the present
time they are number one in
the Parade of States. With

Bob Rushton leading the
Georgia Jaycees, they have
all the confidence that
Georgia will finish number
one next June Ist. In the past
Georgia has never finished
above 40th.
Along with Georgia, Butts
Cos. is having a good year
also. Since the beginning of
the year, (June Ist) they
have raised their member
ship from 14 to 24. They are
getting involved more with
the work of the community
and have been conducting a
lot more internal programs.
The Jaycee organization is
a training ground for young
men between the ages of 18
and 36. The organization has
a speak-up program which
teaches a person to over
come the fright of speaking
in front of a group, a
Personal Dynamics program
teaching people how to set
goals and priorities in a
persons life, and many more.
The people in the club seem
to have a different atmos
phere around them and are
working more together. With
all this going for the club,
nothing can come out of it but
good for the community and
the people in the club.
CARD OF THANKS
I would like to take this
time to thank everyone for
their prayers, visits, cards,
and gifts while I was in the
hospital and since returning
home. God has surely blessed
me with wonderful friends.
Continue to pray for me.
George Stanfield.
