NEWS from your,
PHARMACIST
Hoard
Did you ever hear of a
doctor giving a patient a
“cocktail”? The “Atomic
Cocktail” is used in goiter
cases. Radioiodine is admin
istered in a glass of water.
The result is that the
radioisotope destroys the
excess tissue in the thyroid
gland, thus eliminating the
goiter.
/ This is just one of the few
medications in the new field
of atomic medicine. Who
knows, some day the atom
may come up with a cure for ►
the common cold.
Until they come up with a
cure for the common cold -
we will continue
you with medications to
relieve the symptoms-and
make you feel better,
anyway.
