To Install
Five Officers
Members of the congrega
tion of the Jackson Presby
terian Church recently elect
ed five officers to serve as
elders and deacons on the
church’s two official boards.
Named as elders were Mrs.
Margaret Etheredge and
Richard Watkins and as
deacons Billy Leverette,
Russell A. Marsh and Tom C.
Webb, Jr.
An installation and ordina
tion service for the newly
elected officers will be held
on Sunday, December 14.
The Presbyterians will
hold their annual family
night supper and Christmas
pageant on the same night in
Fellowship Hall.
Worship leaders who will
serve in the absence of Rev.
David Black over the holiday
season include Vincent Jones
on December 28 and Richard
Watkins on January 4.

death of Mrs. Gregory, which
occurred unexpectedly on
December 3.
Mrs. Joel Crane spent a
few days last week in Macon
with her daughter, Mrs.
Jeanine Fitzgerald and Mr.
Fitzgerald.

and Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Waits spent the weekend at
St. Simons Island.
Mr. Ted McMichael of
Georgia College spent the
weekend with his parents,

Mr. and Mrs. Doyle
Faulkner of Athens visited
friends here Monday.
Barrett Hoard spent the
weekend in Dublin with Mr.
and Mrs. Neil Mullis and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thomp
son of Atlanta visited Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Holloway on
Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hoard
and Mr. and Mrs. Paul
James of Flovilla attended
revival services at Sandtown
Baptist Church in Atlanta on
Sunday night. The “Eterni
ty”, a group of young people
from Florida Bible College,
rendered the music and Rev.
Ed Hoard brought the
message.
Mrs. Robert Grier, Sr. and
Mrs. A. D. Allen spent
Wednesday in Atlanta shop
ping. Mrs. Grier remained in
Atlanta until the weekend.
Brad and Paige Earnhart
of Jackson visited their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Asa Maddox on Sunday.
Mrs. Belle Waldrep and
Mrs. Florence Gregory were
visitors in Macon on Monday.
Mrs. Dot Harrison and son
Danny of Warner Robins
visited Mrs. Daisy Grant and
Mrs. Joel Crane on Saturday.
