Flovilla Happenings By Mrs. Emily Burns Guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Elliott were Mrs. Jack Russell of Dallas, Texas and her brother, Mr. James B. Goodman of Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Heil returned home last week following a visit with their children in California and Arizona and also visited with Mr. Heil’s brother in Cali fornia. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burns, Sr. were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burns, Vicki and Cathie of Macon. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Maddox of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Paul James visited Sunay with Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Maddox of Forsyth and also visited Mrs. Sara Howard at the Medical Center in Macon. Visiting Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Elliott were Mrs. Nita Martin, Jack and Jackie, and Leigh and Sybil Miller, all of Covington, and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Cook of Flovilla. Mrs. Sara Duke and Mrs. Emily Burns, Billy and Beth were guests Wednesday of Mrs. A. F. Long of Macon. Guests during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Long and family and Mrs. D. T. Long were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Caldwell, Doug and Chris Hardin of Macon, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Long of Cham blee, and Mr. and Mrs. George Long of Forsyth visited on Friday. Mrs. Edna Long is recu perating at home now having been a patient at the Sylvan Grove Hospital for several days and expresses her appreciation to her friends for the prayers, flowers, cards, visits, and phone calls. Mr. Martin Robinson of Aiken, S. Carolina was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Robinson and Jason this weekend. He also returned Mrs. Robinson home after her visit with her son and family. Visiting Mrs. Edith Roberts and Miss Virginia Smith Tuesday afternoon was Mrs. Rosela Elliott of Forsyth. Mrs. Gaston Hester of Eufaula, Alabama spent Friday and Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Edith Roberts, and Miss Virginia Smith. Mrs. W. E. Waits was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Don Gable of Marietta. Visiting Mrs. Waits on Sunday afternoon were Mr. Edward Waits and Mr. Terry Waits and Mandy of Jackson. Visiting Mrs. Sara Duke during the weekend were Miss Jo O’Brien and Mr. Emory Duke of Jonesboro and Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Duke of Gordon. Mrs. Gaston Hester and Miss Virginia Smith visited Friday evening with Miss Roxie Smith, Mrs. Roxilu Bohrer and Miss Brenda Bohrer of Cork. On Saturday, Miss Smith and Mrs. Hester enjoyed lunch at Marsh’s Restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burns, Jr., Billy and Beth were guests Saturday of Rev. and Mrs. John Huggins, and Jason of Tallapoosa, Ga. John, Kaal, and Jason asked to be remembered to their many friends in Butts County. Enroute home the Burns visited with Mr. Gene Duke, Mrs. W. M. Smith and grandson, Jimmy of Carroll ton.
