Students are assign ed to one of these groups where they debate and vote on bill authored by their fellow members. The Jackson Co-Ed-Y Club had two bills selected to be introduced into the assembly this year. Senate Bill No. 1, authored by Ricky Long and Bobby Pinckney, concerned the vaccination regulations of domesticated animals imported into the state. Although the Bill was short-lived, both students showed excellent prepara tion and delivery. House Bill No. 25, authored by Linday Mackey and Jean Earnhart, dealt with the placement of motorist-aid call boxes along interstate, highways. This Bill passed both the House and the Senate. Other students selected to attend the assembly were Lee Duffey, Deborah Ken dricks, and Donna Tingle.
