In his forecast for May 22-28, Gunn says Jackson Lake will be normal and clear with fishing good for bream, bass and catfish and fair for crappie. High Falls will be normal and clear with fishing slow for all species. Many Cases Disposed Of In Butts County Criminal Court The Butts County Superior Court was adjourned last Tuesday, after the criminal week of the session was continued for two more days to dispose of pending matters. Criminal week was mark ed by a number of guilty pleas and five cases which required jury trials. The complete list of criminal matters disposed of at the May term, as furnished by Superior Court Clerk David P. H. Pinckney, received the 1977 William Mclntosh Chapter, Daugh ter’s of the American Revolution, Good Citizen Award on Honor’s Day at Jackson High School. The DAR Good Citizen program stresses the qualities of Good Citizenship among seniors, both boys and girls, in high schools across the nation. Qualifications taken into consideration by the faculty as they make the selection each year are Leadership, which includes personality, self-control, and ability to assume responsibility; De pendability, meaning truth fulness, loyalty and punctu ality; Service, including cooperation, courtesy, consi deration of others; and Patriotism, meaning unself ish interest in family, school, community and nation. Bobby, an honor graduate, has been active in Key Club, Co-Ed-Y, dramatics, sports, 4-H Club and Scouts. He plans to enter Georgia Tech in the fall.
