While the Texas veterans were

two venerable men who had not

than they are now.
Among the incidents of by-gone
days was a murder trial which took

of San Jaointo. A man was brought
before the court charged with the
murder of a neighbor, the father of
a large family. The murderer him
self was an unmarried man. The
presiding judge having read the
indictment told the piisonor to
stand up and said to him :
“Bill Jones, yon have not acted
right in this master. You have de¬
prived a good woman of her hus¬
band and made orphans of her e’til
dren. If I turn you loose will you
marry the widow and support the
family of the deceased ?”
The prisoner said that lie was
more than willing to do so. In fact
he had shot her husband in order
that he might do that very thing

prevent gerrymandering. TUti re>
is long and includes an elabo

Mr. Tucker of Virginia submit

bill, it says, put ports to bo aimed
at the vice of gerrymandering, and

fact, it only transfers the system
to tho national theater, where it*
highest dovtslopmcntg may be wits

It proposes to prohibit gerryman¬

ado} tion by congress. It denies to
a state the right"to fchHHgc its dis¬

that right exclusively to congress,

To place the exercise of nob

each state in tho union, oqual at

Lung Troubles, Rheumatism,
Etc.
Frequently a person is supposed to have
consumption when it is some other dis¬
ease that is reducing his flesh and makiug
him look pale and thin.
J. W. Yates, Tullahoma, Tenn., writes:
‘It does mo good to praise Botanic Blood
Balm. It cured mo of au abscess on tho
lungs and asthma of two j year’s standing
that other medicines fail to be.ufL.”
So you see It is sometimes well to try
constitutional treatment. No remedy is
so good as B. B. li. (Botanic Blood Balm)
for rebuilding tissue and giving health to
every portion of the system reached by
that great circulating stroam of life, the
human blood. Again, it Is often suppos¬
ed that colds and exposure are tho only
cause of sciata, rheumatism, etc. Such Is
not always the case. It is frequently
caused by impurities In the blood.
Wm. Price, Luttsville, Mo., writes: “1
was afflicted with sciatica and hod lost
the use of one arm aad one leg for nine
years. I went to Hot Springs and also
tried different doctors, but found no cure
until I tried Botadic Blood Balm, rt made
me sound and well, 1 nm well known tu
this vicinity.” when
Observe that even the renowned
Hot Ssrings failed. B. B. B. brought relief
BonsewAAjr, no matter what blood remedj
you have tried or intend to try. B. B. B.
is the only one that will give you complete
satisfaction 1 .
