Out of Town Society I AMBROSE SOCIAL NEWS ! 0 0 Mr. and Mrs, T. C. Johnston, of I ineview, have recently moved here. Dr. I. W. Moorman spent part of the week with relatives in Laurens county. Miss Flora Whitfield spent the week-end with relatives at Osierfield. Mr. and Mrs. B. S. Royal, Mrs. H. F. Warren and Mary Royal visited at Douglas Sunday. Judge T. A. Parker, of Way cross, spent Sunday here. Dr. A. H. Weathers spent Monday at Dooling. Miss Maggie Minchew, of Denton, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Holland. Dr. and Mrs. A. H. Weathers visit ed at Pineview during the week. Miss Littlefield, of Camden county, was the guest of Miss Mamie Warren for a few days. I O O | WILLACOOCHEE LOCALS | O— O Our school opened Monday with the largest enrollment in the history of the school. We are very much pleased with our new principal Prof. I. N.Carr. Miss Maude Smith was elected to teach the Ist and 2nd grades, Miss Leonora Linder 3rd and 4th, Miss Mae McWhorter stji and 6th and Miss Annette Quillian, Music teacher. Mrs. Leola Oberry is on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. J. F. Ward, in Jacksonville, Fla. Mrs. Lily Corbitt and Mr. Paul Ham mond were united in marriage at the home of the bride Sunday evening, Justice E. L. Moore officiating. Mr. Wilbur O’berry left Tuesday night for Barnesville to take up his studies at Gordon Institute. Miss Mary Parish who has spent the summer with Mrs. G. A. McGowan returned to Denton. Mrs. E. R. Smith has returned from Hazelhurst where she was called to the bedside of her sick mother. Miss Mae Corbitt left last week for Valdosta where she enters the South Georgia State Normal College. Mr. B. G. O’berry Jr. leaves on 20th inst. for Athens where he reenters the University. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mills, Misses Ethel Turner and Viola Lott were visitors here Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. L. Clements and Mr. W. E. Pafford, of Milltown, were guests at the home of Mr and Mrs. C. B. Lincfer last Sunday. Rev. and Mrs. Q. J. Pinson have returned from a few days visit to Albany. Fact is our think tank sort of run out of ammunition. Mr. Roy Vinson, son of Doctor Vin son left Monday night for Dahlonega to attend the N. G. A. C. Messrs Calvin Meeks and Elisha Tompson left Tueday night for Way cross where they will enter Piedmont College. Mr. H. Altman and family, Mrs. Brodkin, of Atlanta, and the writer spent Sunday in Alma. Miss Cora say that the fact that women lawyers have been admitted to the Georgia Bar has created a stir, does not interest her a bit, as she’d just as oon be defended by a man. Mr. A. C. Mcnealie who was mail clerk on the train running to Bruns wick, has been transferred to the Hazelhurst diistriet, sorry to lose him but wish him luck.
