VICKERS & COMPANY Coffee's Schools. Coffee county’s schools, and particularly the rural schools of the county, made a great show ing on last Wednesday, when they gathered here at the fair. The great parade to the grounds would convince anyone that the county is thoroughly alive in school matters, and that some thing has been going on in that line, otherwise the great show ing could not have been made. The rural schools of Coffee county are second to none in Ga., and the power behind the throne, the superintendent, stands high in the estimation of the state officials, and ranks as one of the best superintendents in the state. Such a compliment has already been paid him by the state sup erintendent. | The displays of the different jschoos at the fair ground is suf dcie.it evidence that the teachers !of the rural schools are all very (efficient and specially trained in i heir line of work. Prof. Floyd is always on top when it comes | to employing teachers. He knows the material needed for a parti cular community and he goes out and gets him or her. We knew that school children's day at the fair would be the best drawing card and the gathering here last Wednesday was proof of what the day brought forth. The Coffee County Fair would not be complete without such a day, especially so long as we can make a showing like the one just made. ***** You have got to hand it to the fair management this year. They have given Coffee county and this section a great show. ***** The belated returns from the i residential race has not, any change in the results. It is Wilson again, and there is no way to have it otherwise, and who wants a change anyway? THE DOUGLAS ENTERPRISE, DO UGLAS, GEORGIA, NOV. 18 1916. NOTICE OF SALE.
