The Enterprise is following its usual cus tom each year in promoting the empty stocking fund and giving publicity to its organization and completion. We do this because we believe that the people want it. that they are desirous of donat ing something in asubstantial way at this sea son of the year, to charity, and thereby assist in making the season what it should be to every body. There is a lot of charity to be done in this city, like every other city. Somebody has got to do it. To contribute to this fund, will in a small way, help to alleviate much of the suffer ing in our midst, and will bring a ray of sun shine to the heart of a great number who are less fortunate. Every season we have been very success ful in raising a bout SIOO. to this fund. We should raise that amount, or more this year, because there is more money in the county than ever before. We want you to subscribe to the fund, to be paid in cash or merchandise, and proper committees will be appointed to look after the distribution. Send the Enterprise the amount you desire to give, and we will gladly place it to your credit. « ***** SANTA CLAUS LETTERS. We are going to give two issues of our paper again this year to the publishing of Santa Claus letters. We have been doing this for eight years, and the children have become ac customed to it, and we cannot afford to abandon it now, even if we desired to. The little letters are always interesting, bright, and it does the grown-ups good to read them. It does the little folks more good, and the Enterprise is only too glad to help along in this direction. Therefore for the next two weeks, we will give publicity to all letters which come to this office. See notice elsewhere as to conditions, etc. *** * * Editor Volney Williams seems to be the busiest man in Georgia.
