Williams, expert in cotton breeding, and others familiar with boll weevil ronditions. DO NOT STRADDLE We never did like to see a man str&ddle, and we do not believe that such a man can have the right kind of respect for himself. When he gets alone we should imagine that he feels ashamed of himself for not coming out like a real man and showing his colors. If a fellow is for a thing, and he has. the manhood to declare himself we have respect for his manhood even though we may not agree with his. But the fellow who dodges issues and becores the very kind that the crowd he is with is, and the very thing itself when he is with a dicerent crowd—well we prefer r.ot saying in this calm moment the kind of opinion we have for such a fellow. Be yourself and be somebody even if that somebody differs from all the rest of men, is far better’than being nobody or just anybody. An honest man is the noblest work of creation and a straddler can not possibly be an honest man. He is not true to himself, which is a great crime, and not being true to himself he can not be true to others. —Exchange. Your Paper Will Be Cut Of/ Unless You Pay Up. THE DOUGLAS ENTERPRISE.
