Misses Ernie Belle and Ila Taylor

Rev. R. O. Martin and sons, Owen
and Albert, left early Tuesday for
Martha Berry where Owen will attend
school.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jordan and little
son, accompanied their neice, Louise
Vckers, to Martha Berry on Wednes

Francis, left Wednesday for Eatonton
where they will be guests of Mrs.

was the week-end guest of Mrs. W.
M. CSok. Miss Breedlove was a mem
ber of the faculty here last term, but
this year goes to Brunswick.
Mrs. G. W. Knowles and children
spent several days last week with a
sister in Moultrie. Mr. Knowles join

BROXTON SCHOOL OPENING
WELL ATTENDED
School opened Monday morning with
a large number of children enrolled
and a good attendance on the part of
the patrons.
Supt. Tanner and Mr. Bussey, of
Douglas, were also present.
The opening song, America, was fol
lowed by a devotional service by Rev.
R. O. Martin and after interesting
talks by Supt. Tanner, Prof. Parrott
and patrons of the school, pupils and
teachers assembled in the class rooms.
Miss Eunice Martin has been secur
ed for eighth grade teacher and her
election completed a plendid faculty
composed of Prof. Glen Parrott, Miss
Martin, Miss Viola Goss, Mr?. R. L.
Kight, Miss Julia Willis, Miss Nina
McMahan, Miss Rmh Leggett, pri
mary, Miss Willie Ryals, music. Miss
