In the second primary race next Wednesday, October 6th, Geor
gians will nominate Dr. L. G. Hardman for governor, because he
stands for a clean-cut business administration. He is not a man
that jumps first on one, then on the other side of an issue. He
stands four-square on matters that are of vital interest to the tax
payers of Georgia.
Jle does not favor an increase in taxes and believes that with a
business administration taxpayers will be saved hundreds of
thousands of dollars annually. He favors reorganization of every
department of the state on a safe, sound, conservative basis.
Duplication of departments should be eliminated; unnecessary
help dispensed with and the affairs of Georgia conducted on a
high business plane the same as a private enterprise.
The Brown-HolcVr machine was partly smashed September Bth
and it will be completely put out of business on October 6th
Holder will be defeated the same as Brown was defeated. Voter
are rallying to the Hardman standard for “he is the best mar: r
the race” and will make Georgia the best governor in a decade.
A vote for Hardman is a vote for progress in Georgia, io let
us move forward by electing Hardman
JEFFERSON WOMAN’S CLUB
Jefferson, Ga.
Why the Club Women of Jefferson
Urge the People of Georgia to Vote
for John N. Holder for Governor.
First: Because no other man in
public life in Georgia knows the needs
of the State as well as Holder.
Second: No other man in the State
has done more good for his State than
John Holder, in the Legislature, in
building good roads and highways, and
as a citizen of Georgia.
Third: No man ever has rendered
or. ever will render a service to his
State of so vital importance, as will
Mr. Holder in his efforts to save Geor"
gia from a bonded indebtedness for
generations to come.
Fourth: No other man has cooper
ated with almost every department of
work in the Georgia Federation of
Women’s Clubs in bu'ilding good roads
as has Mr. Holder.
Mr. Holder has always been a friend
of W’omen’s Clubs. His daughter is
President of the Tenth District Fed
eration of Women's Club, and Mrs.
Holder was President of the Ninth
District Federation of Women’s Club
for four years.
As a Christian gentleman, Mr.
Holder has always hcen kind and good,
helping the poor whenever the oppor
tunity presented itself and never
taking undue advantage of those in
his employ. He is a friend to human
ity. He has been most unjustly ac
cused by his opponents, has been ma
ligned and persecuted, but we know
him to be honest, just and truthful.
Let the Club Women of Georgia
stand by Mr. Holder and cast their
vote for him on October 6th.
President, Mrs. F. M. Bailey,
Sec., Mrs. M. M. Bryan,
Treas., Mrs. J. E. Randolph,
Cor. Sec., Mrs. S. Kesler.
