Betts at her home in Ocilla for the
weekend.

rive in the city next week and will be

the city next week to spend Christmas
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom

hunting trip.

in the city Friday from Wesleyan
College, Macon, and will be guests at
their homes for the holidays.

Miss Edwina Preston, student at
Andrew College, of Cuthbert, will ar
rive in the city Saturday to spend the
Christmas holidays with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Preston. She will
have as her guest for several days her
room mate, Miiss Virginia Waltis, of
Jacksonville.

were married at the home of Mis. H.
E. Barfield, of Valdosta, on Saturday
afternoon, Dec. 11, at 4 o’clock.
Mrs. Richey was one of the most
popular members of the younger set
in Valdosta and is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. W. B. Bridges of that city.
Mr. Richey is the youngest son of
Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Rrichey of this
city.

REVIEW CLUB TUESDAY AFT.
The Review Club met at the home
of Mrs. H. J. Boatright Tuesday af
ternoon, with Mrs. Martha Baird,
hostess.
A Christmas thought was given in
answer to roll call. Mrs. Elie Tanner
gave a paper on Christmas Carols,
and an interesting paper e i Christmas
Legends was given by Mrs. Hutch
Williams. A reading from The Vis
ions of Sir Leunfal, was given by Mrs.
Thomas Overstreet.
The Christmas idea was carried out
in the delicious refreshments, and
novelty green and red favors were
given.
Those present were Mrs. Elie Tan
ner, Mrs. Henry Roberts, Mrs. Raloh
Griffin, Mis. Hutch Williams, Mrs.
Call Tanner, Mrs Martha Baird, and
Mrs. Homer J. Boatright.
