among the close friends, and relatives
of Mrs. Jefferson Davis Sunday night
whan the physicians announced a de
cided improvement in the condition cf
the venerable patient.
While the improvement is marked,
the doctors will not go so far as to
state that Mrs. Davis i 3 out of dang'-r.
