HOW THE CONTEST WILL BE CONDUCT ED.
Each customer of Ludden & Bates Southern Music House purchasing a Piano or Organ from any of
their representatives will be allowed a guess at the total number of sales of Pianos and Organs made by this
progressive house during 1904. Ihe sales for last Alay amounted to 216, a list of which may be secured
by writing us and may serve as a basis for estimating those of the entire year.

great opportunity is open, and learn the Plan of the guessing competition. We will send a card on which your guess
may h \n connection with the above we have inaugurated a sale of a fine lot of new Pianos, representing the product of a number of the leading
manufacturers of the country, which we have decided to discontinue handling, not because thev have proven unsatisfactory, but that we may give
our whole time and effort to the sale of the world-famed Chickering, Mathushek, I vers 6c Pond, Ludden & Bates, Lester and
Kohler and Campbell (pianos) and Estey and Ludden 6c Bates (organs). There will be some rare bargains in these special pianos. The
price has been cut just halt in two. All persons taking the benefit of this special sale will be allowed a guess as though they had bought at the
regular price In order that this guessing contest mav be conducted with fairness to all parties concerned, arrangements have been made for dis
interested parties to examine the books at branch stores of the company, and certify as to the correctness of the number of sales made during the
