hair is quite dry, blow in along the
backbone very line insect powder,
and rub behind the ears with sul
phur ointment. The next day the
powder can be all brushed out and
the backbone rubbed with the oint
ment.
Foam Pudding.
Beat the t'olks of three eggs into
a cupful of powdered sugar and a
half pint of hot milk. Make a thick
paste with flour and milk and stir
into the eggs and milk. Put on the
lire and stir until the custard is
very thick, flavor with orange flower
water and pour into a pie dish.
Whip the whites of three eggs with
a little powdered sugar until per
fectly stiff, spread over the hot pud
ding and set in the oven long
enough to color the meringue. Serve
cold.
