Ocilla, Broxton and Savannah*
This is the name suggested for
the new line of railway which will
extend from Ocilla to a point on
the Southern railway via. Osier
field and Broxton. The money
subscribed by Broxton has been
paid over in cash, and a force of
hands will soon be on the work
from Osierfield to Broxton. This
company has purchared the line of
the Southern pine Co. from Brox
ton to Hazlehurst. The Broxton
Journal thinks trains will be run
ning over the entire line by the
first of July.
South Georgia may eiect a man
for governor some time, but it will
be when there are not so many can
didates in that section. North
Georgia has one candidate general

get np several who fight each other
until the North Georgia man walks
