To the Stockholders of The Ocilla,
Pine Bloom & Voldosta Railroad:
You are hereby notified of and re
quested to attend a’meeting of the
Stock holders of said railroad, which
will be held at the principal office of
said railroad, at Pine Bloom, Georgia,
at ten o’clock, A. M., on June 15th,
1905, for the purpose of considering
and acting upon a contract and
agreement consolidating, uniting and
merging the capital stocks, properties
franchises, rights and privileges of
said railroad with those of the Doug
las, Augusta & Gulf railway company,
entered into by the directors of both
of said companies under authority
heretofore confered upon the directors
of each of said companies by the stock
holders of each said companies.
Said Stockholders’ meeting is called
pursuant to a resolution of both the
stockholders and directors of the
Ocilla, Pine Bloom & Valdosta rail
road, adopted this day. and directing
the underssigned to publish this notice

Notice of Local Legislation.
Georgia, Coffee County. Notice is
hereby given that at the approaching
session of the Legislature of the State
of Georgia there will be introduced an
act entitled an act to amend an act
creating the city court of Donglas,
approved December 9th, 1897. Said
amendment providing for the election
of Judge, Solicitor, Sheriff and Clerk
of said court and fixing compensation
of same and for other purposes.
Notice is also hereby given that at
the approaching session of the Legis
lature in and for said State there will
be introduced a bill entitled an act to
amend an act creating a Board of
County Commissioners of Coffee coun
ty, approved November 13th, 1889.
Said amendment providing for the
election of said commissioners by
direct vote of the people in lieu of ap
pointment by the Judge of the Superior
Court, and for other purposes.
This May the 30th, 1905.

proves very slowly, and I have no
