first day of January 1894, executed and
delivered to said A. Burkhalter A Son ft
mortgage on a tract of land lying in noi l
count}' and described as follow - Tw n
ty-two (22) acres more or less oi lot No
•aixty-six (Ob' in the sixth (Oth) district
of Coffee county. Said land bounded
on the north by lands of Jacob Ander
son, east by lands of Tom Johnson,
west by iands of W. M. Sutton and
south by lands of Neal Johnson, for the
purpose of securing the payment of a
certain promissory note for the sum of
one hundred and twelve and one-hall
’12.60) dollars made by the said M. I>-
ephens and M. A. Stephens on the
