Five arches formed of evergreen and holly were erected—a small one near each entrance, and at the end of each aisle, with a letter 8 on the left Klid the let¬ ter 'J' on the right—pendant, so on en¬ tering the bridal party entered under the letter S und passed out on the right under the letter T. A large arch over the platform with a horseshoe of evergreen suspended front the cen¬ ter undeK.which the happy couple stood.
