last. Friday night. She was only
sick three days. Graham has had
a good many deaths this year.

len from him a few days ago by
one Milton Shaw, both colored.
A. C. Dorling & Co., of Graham
had their store robbed some time
ago, and a few days ago they

Will Roads, who was hurt some
time ago on C. Bewick & Co.’s
tram road, and Inis not been able
to work since, but it seems that he
can get about well enough to com¬
mit theft, ne will probable “go
up” for a short while.
The weather has been very
warm for the past week, The
thermometer registered 95 in the
shade.
C. Bewick & Co.’s mill has been
stopped for a day or two, putting
in the new live rollers to convey
the lumber from the saw. Every¬
thing about their mill is of the
latest improvement,
Mr. R. ID Bewick is now in De¬
troit. He will return soon to this
place.
Mr. .roe Bassott, of Detroit, is
enployed by C. Bewick & Co., to
assist in their store. He is charm¬
ed with our (own, but we think if
lie don’t get used to the mosquitoe
bites he will not like it so well.
Mrs. L. A. Fuller and daughter,
Mrs. Kittie Dozier, left for Talbat
ton, Ga., last Friday, where they
will spentl the summer.
