Jojinsonvijj.e, Ga., Oct. 28.—No
doubt you think your correspon
den front this place is dead, but
he is not dead, only sleeping.
Our tovvn is still in a rush. The
saw mill is doing an immense bus¬
iness now. The greatest trouble
is gelling cars to move the lumber.
The company has just completed
1 heir waterworks, which works to
perfection, They can conduct
water now to any part of the
premises m a few minutes, and
can throw it 75 feet high without
any trouble. This will be a great
advantage over lire. Other im¬
provements are going on every
day. The managers certainly de¬
serve a great deal of credit for the
sucees of the business and im¬
provement generally. They are
quite young, but are business all
over. If you doubt my word in
the leas', ask some of the commer
rial travelers on the E. T., V. AG.
railway and they will tell you how
long it takes them to decide what
they will do, or what they will not
do.
