On Thursday afternoon last a
Mr. J. C. Carr was arranging to
haul a large stick of timber at his
mill, when by some means the
timber slipped and a hoisting le
ver fell striking him on the head
and right shoulder. The blow
caused him a good deal of pain for
several days.
