Notice is hereby given that The Wad-

Emanuel County,Georgia,to the City of
Valdosta, in Lowndes County, Georgia,
in compliance with resolutions hereto
fore passed by the Board of Directors of
-aid Kailroad Company, of which the
foilowing are copies stockholders : of The

jinny, in meeting assembled, did,on the
2nd, day of June, 1899, resolve to cx
ti ml the lineof said railroad from Wad
ley, in Jefferson County, Georgia, to
the City of Augusta,in Kiehmond Coun¬
ty, Georgia; and also to build ail ex¬
tension, or branch, road from Itixville,
in Emanuel Countv, Georgia to the Ci¬
ty of Valdosta, in Lowndes County,
Georgia and expedient,
Wherkas, it is deemed
and for the best interests of said railroad
company, that its railroad be extended
from Wadley, Georgia, to Augusta, that
Georgia, as above, indicated; and

.Mount Vernon Railroad, be extended,
by building its line from Wadley, in
Jefferson County, Georgia, through the
Counties of Jefferson, Burke ard Rich
mond, or any or all of said Counties as
may be, by the Director- «f said Com¬
pany, deemed most feasible and to the
best interests of said railroad ( ompany,
to the City of Augusta, in Richmond
Countv, "length Georgia. extension of said

al direction of same will be Northeast,
through the Counties above named, or
any, or all of them, from Wadley. in
