THOUSANDS of women suffer from
systemic catarrh. This is sure to
produce such symptoms cs cold feet
and hands, sick headache, palpitation of
the heart and heavy feelings in the
stomach.
Then begins a series of experiments
with medicine. They take medicine for
sick headache. They take medicine for
nervous prostration, for palpitation of
the- heart, for dyspepsia. None of these
medicines do any good because they do
not reach the cause of the complaint.
Peruna at once mitigates all these
symptoms by removing the cause.
Systemic catarrh is the trouble. Sys
temic catarrh pervades the whole sys
tem, deranges every organ, weaken.-,
every function. No permanent cure can
be expected until the systemic catarrh
is removed.
This is exactly what Peruna will do.
Miss Alma Cox, Assistant Postmis
tress of Orum, 8. C., writes:
•7 have been a great sufferer from
chronic disease and dyspepsia for five
years. How I suffered no tongue can
tell. I tried eight or ten of the best phy
sicians without receiving much benefit,
also tried lots of patent medicines. But
still T suffered with slek heedache, cold
feet and hands, palpitation of the heart,
and such a heavy feeling in my stomach
and chem. At times 1 v.uuxd Lv nerv
ous I could not bear anyone around me.
I had been given up to die.
“One days Mend sent me one of Dr.
Hartman’s pamphlets, and I decided to
write to him. He advised Peruna and
Manalin, and after taking the medicine
two weeks I felt greatly relieved. My
head did not pain me any scarcely, and
my stomach was relieved of its heavy | stores the functions < f every organ.

A TRIBUTE OF LOVE.
The sad announcement on Tuesday
morning last of the untimely death
of Mrs. Mae Seidell White was a
grievous surprise to her many
friends and acquaintances.
Although it has long been known
that Mrs. White’s health was far
from perfect, the seriousness of her
condition was unsuspected; for her
loving solicitude and kindly consid
eration for her family and friends
lead her to accept without murmur,
nay, with cheerfulness, what must
must have been unutterable physical
anguish.
Mrs. White s trouble was pro
nounced peritonitis. All that money
could obtain and loving hearts sug
gest to alleviate her suffering and
restore her to health was done; but,
alas! in vain. When all other rem
edies had been exhausted, as a last
resort, her physicians decided to
operate. The result proved the com
plications so great, however, that no
earthly means could avail to save
her. Death brought her a sweet
release from all pain, and opened to
her the gates of heaven.
The funeral was conducted at the
family residence on West Ellis Street
at 4p. m. on Wednesday. Dr. War
ren, of the First Baptist church, as
sisted by Dr. John Owen conducted
the impressive services, and spoke
the tender words of comfort to the
sorrowing ones A quartette v-ig/P
