er, who is seriously ill.

The little daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Will Bartlett has been very
sick, but is improving now, we are
glad to note.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mauldin vis
ited Mrs. Tom Black Sunday after
noon.
Mrs. Walter Campbell and chil
dren spent Friday night with Mrs.
Hewin.
Several from here attended the
singing at the home of Mr. Jack
Grubbs Sunday night.
The lawn party given by Mr. and
Mrs. W. W. Jordan Saturday night
was enjoyed by a large crowd.

Mrs. Malory Adams.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith, of
Hartwell, dined recently with Mr. and
Mrs. G. R. Sanders.

Miss Dollie Sanders left Wednes
day for Mt. Berry, where she entered
school for the 1924-25 term.

Miss Ethel Hall and Mr. Fletcher
Byrum were happily married Sun
day, September 7, 1924. The bride
is the beautiful young daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John Hall, of this
community. The groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Tugalo Byrum, of
this community, and a prosperous
young farmer. We wish Fletcher and
his bride a long, happy and prosper
our life.
