also bo authorized to have such rati
tcrial as they havo been heretofore
doing with Post, k Ingersoll for the
construction of the said road, and
at tho same rates heretofore charg
ed, and to keep separate account;
thereof; that they shall also turn
over to the said Robert the plans
and notes of said trostling such as
may bo required by hitn for the
prosecution of the said work of con
struction, and petitioners will ever
pray, etc.

Yesterday n’ternoon, a Telegraph
reporter culled on Mr. Robert and
bud a short talk with him in regard
to the outlook for the road.
“1 havo boon busy all day,” said
he, ‘‘in search of hands to begin
work. I havo secured a pretty
good force for so short, a time, ,-ome
twenty five, who have boon sent to
the front.”
‘What will be your first work?”
“Well, l will first go over and see
what is needful in the way of or
ganizing ami laying oat. (ho work

see that it is nil in ship-shape be
ginning to lay track.”
“Have yon plenty of material?"
“Yns, we have a very good supply
and so soon as we secure a sufficient
