did you ever have grip?
If not, you needn't want it, for
the feelings ure *iinply e-pluribus

Mr, Tom Wilburn says he has
such a fine gun and is such an
part shot that he has to salt the
shot with which he kills birds to
keep them from spoiling. The
re.tson for this, so he says, is that
it takes such a long time to reach
the spot where the birds fall after
he shoots.
Tufts Sammons, third son of

posed to the disease but the time
for it to develop in any other
member has not expired, and wo
hope it won’t. All the family his
been kept at h«me and isolated
f <un the sick member since the
trouble was first pronounced sn.all
pox.
Miss Mamie Adams, who i« re-

learned whether or not she
take it. Miss Adams is from
Katonlon.
Mr. and Mrs. Sammons had ar¬
ranged for a sort of reunion of the
family and had invited a number
ol frienrts to eat a turkey dinner
with them at the reunion, but
I lifts and his nice little case of
*mall pox broke up the reunion,
•md I suppose the tirkey has been
quarantined.
I just did have time to smack
my mouth after getting my invi¬
tation to the turkey dinner before
some one yelled small pox. Then
I relapsed on the spot; no I guess
l must call it collapse. I suppose
some lime will elapse before I
have another such cuuse to col¬
lapse af^er Lite relapse.

The peculiar cough which indi¬
cates croup is usually well known
to tin; mothers of croupy children.
No time should lw lost in tlm
treatment of it, and for this pnr-
poso-no remedy has received more
universal approval than Chamber¬

waste valuable time in experiment
