Mr John Funderburk, who for¬
merly lived in this county, but
who lias made Macon his home
for the past several years, died in
that city last Tuesday and was
buried yesterday-. He was a
brother of Mrs J M Huberts of
Clinton.

Mrs Tyner visited her parents
last week. 'They were quite tick

Tyner and the children were all
sick. Wo are glad to knew they
are all getting well.

Mr George Jann s which occurred
at liis homo 11 ear Kohertsville.
About ten days prior to bis death
lie was stricken with paralsis
never regaining eonsionsness. the
eiilurmont was at the James eein-
etery near here. The body was
followed by a largeconcotirso of
friends to the grave. He is sur¬
vived by a wife and two brothers,
Mr Abel James of this county and
Oupt Tom James of Adrian Ga.
School opened here Inst Monday
