very near injuring her eyes. She

taken to an occulist. We hope
that it will not prove serious.
Joo Mercer was in town the

his ticket he did not have quite
enough change and he immediate-
ly pulled out a few tobacco- tags
to make up the deficiency. The
agent told him he did not take
Mumps, but he could sell them
across the street.
