send it to Bibb and other counties, which is decidedly to

Lewis was,as in usiuJ, clear,force¬

quired cf bun would allow. A
great deal of the t?dionsness ol
these repeated charges are reliev¬
ed by the earnest and attractive
manner in which they are deliv¬
ered by this eloquent Jurist. His
charges are helpful indeed to any
Uomwt grand juror in the dis¬
charge of his duties. The busi-

there were but few visitii+g nt-

Judge Foster, of Madison, Judge
Wingfield, of Katonton, Judge
Sparks, of Brunswick, and Col R

here. Tjiily one civil eV.se was«dis-

was taken up Tuesday afternoon.
Two prisoners entered a plea of
guilty while only two were placed
on trial. The court adjourned

ity, w ill the last court h< Id in the
old court house, us the contract¬
ors promise to have the new
buildings in readiness for the
April term of next year. The
good people of.this hospitable old
town retained their hospitality to
tile last, as evidenced by the fact
many enjoyed 'excellent din¬

good people enjoy' looking after
the wants of their friends during
these bi-annual occasions.

On October 4th, 1905, the,death
angel entered the home of Mr Os-
car Anchors and took away his
young wife. The little batife, three
weekslold,- preceded her one day
er, thus leaving the horns of the
husband sad and disconsolate.
Mrs, Anchors was tliu diuigbter
of Mr.Jim Bloodsworth, of Jones
county^ but slio was taken mu
fancy and reared by her grand-
parents, Mr and MrsG Willis,
These dear old people luivo long
siijce consecrated their lives to
God and.ti’irew around her spirit¬
ual influence that enriched and
lu-aiilified her life. SI 10 was fond
of music and many were the hap¬
py evenings these three spent to¬
gether singing beautiful hymns.
She wms the light of the home and
won inanv freuds in the commu¬
nity. Mr and Mrs Willis felt
their loss when Rho was taken
away by Mr Anchors September
18, 1901, to her new home in
Baldwin county,
Her illness was of short dura¬
tion; alio must have realized that
her summons had come, for al¬
most in her death hour she sung
the glorious old song, “When the
Roll is Called up Yonder.”
We sympathize with the be¬
reaved husband and family but
let us bow in humble submission
to t he will of Him who Is infinite¬
ly wise mid good.
