Mrs Elder will be an inmate of
the home of J T Morton until
May. She is a welcome visitor,
and quite an addition to the com¬
munity in every way.
The W F M S will entertain the
ladies at a missionary tea Friday
afternoon at 8 :80,jo’clock, at the
home of Dr Hardeman. All are
invited and a small contribution

Dedication exercises of Bradley
school were held Friday after¬
noon. Rev E W Sammons, our
worthy commissioner, was pres¬
ent and made an earnest appeal
in the cause of education. The
exercises of tne children were
warmly applauded by the vistiorr.
Prof Green, the principal made u
short speech on the need ol an
education and of the benefit of a
public school. The evening was
thoroughly enjoyed by all pres¬
ent, and they departed, wishing
many more happy occasions and
continued progress of the school.
There will bo an oyster supper
at the Bradley school bouse Fri¬
day night for the benefit of the
school. All arc invited to come.

We are glad to report that Mrs
H J Wheeler, who has been quite
sick, is now some better.

with pneumonia is much better,
