He was taken Saturday night with a compli- n tion of diseases ?nd his fering was unspeakably. Mr. M: ntire is one Kranlin county's most noted and remarkable citizens and is loved and d mi red by all that he comes in c ntact with, and it will be gratifyi'g news to his friends.to know that he is improving. It is hoped that he will soon be well and strong again. Mrs. T. G. Hall tertained Re¬ cently. Some time since Mrs. Thomas Goss Hall entertained at her home on Mai l street, she Was assisted by Mrs. Mem Crump, the evening wis one of much amusement as various games were played. Refreshments of ice cream blocks and angle food cake were served,. Both Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Crump are excellent entertain¬ ers and all present left with many happy “Gocd-nights” and saying they b da mot enjoy¬ able evening. Cotton Seed.
