The Radcliffe entertainers were
at their best while here and every
one who attended any performan
ce, lcctnrere, play or concert
received a rare treat, one that
will oe remembered a long time
and that created a desire for their
return another year.

worth a season ticket and we
were fortunate in having them m

A wedding of interest to a
large circle of friends was that ot
Miss Hattie Elzora Dickson and
Mr, Wayne Ward, which took
place Wednesday evening July
4th, at the Parsonage, Rev, II. M.
Strozier officiating.
The ceremony was performed
in the parlor ot the Parsonage
which was artistically decorated
with summer blossoms.
Mrs. Ward is the secorddaugh
ter of Mr J. T. Dickson one of
Carnesville’s best citizensj She
is a young woman with many
personal charms and and a woman
of many friends. She will be
greatly missed by both young
and old and she will add to Ash¬
land community both in Christain
and social way.
Mr. Ward is a son of J, J.
Waul one of the best,families at
Ashland and is a young man with
sterling business vualities and will
make a success in the business
world. Mr. and Mrs. Ward are
