We see that the city fathers have at
last repaired the large bridge on the
! street that leads to the churches. The
| citizens of tiie town art very thankful
to them. The windlass and elevator

This bridge had long been a source of
danger. Large cracks bad appeared
i i t , u. and people were in danger of
loosing a limb and their lives along
with it in passing. These cracks were
permitted to remain there, perhaps,
that the under surface could get good
ventilation.
