farewell sermon to the Baptist

About 9 o’clock Monday night
a crowd of young people gathered
at the home of Miss Susie Cox and
spent time very pleasantly at
chatting, and some of them made
very good use of the time. The
entertainment was given in honor .
to Miss Butler.
Mr. J. R. Smith was in town on
business Tuesday.
The re-union Tuesday was a
grand success and it will long be
remembered by those who atten
ded. The weather was line; the
dinner was elegaut; the crowd was
orderly, and the occasion in gen
eral was grand. The music was
furnished by the Abbeville Cornet
band, which was beautiful indeed.
