August Flower.
“It is ft surprising,’’ says Prof.
Houton, “that in my travels in nil
parts of tho world, for the last ten
years, I have met more people hav
ing used Green's August Flower
than any other remedy, for dys
pepsia, deranged liver and stomach,
and for constipation. I find for
tourists and salesmen, or for persons
filling office positions, where head
aches and general bad feelings from
irregular habits exist, that Green’s
August Flower is a grand remedy.
It does not injure the system by
frequent use, and excellent-for sour
stomachs and indigestion.” Sample

The Storm Lent Saturday.
The storm lasts aturday did con
siderable damage in Cordele. The
Chautauqua building and a small
tenant house were completely de
molished, while the public school
building was considerably school dam
aged. The east wing of the
building is out of plumb about 12
inches, while the west wing is
out 4 or 5 inches. Quite a num
ber of trees blew down and sev
eral fences can be seen flat on the
ground. The rain was a “ground
washer,” and much excitement
prevailed among our people during
the progress of the storm.

A Mother Telia How She Saved her Little
Daughter’* Life.
I am the mother of eight children
and have had a great deal of experi
ence with medicines. Last summer
my little daughter had the dysintery
in its worst form. We thought she
would die - I tried everything I could
think of, but nothing seemed to do
her any good. I saw by an adver
tisement in our paper that Chamber
lain’s Colic, Colera and Diarrhoea
Remedy was highly recommended
and sent and got a bottle at once. It
proved to be one of the very best
medicines we ever had in the house.
It saved my little daughter’s life.
I am anxious for every mother to
know what an excellent medicine it is.
Had I known it at first it would have
saved me a great deal of anxiety and
my little daughter much suffering.—

An exchange says, “Woman

During the civil war, as well as in
the late war with Spain, diarrhoea dis
was one of the most troublesome

In many cases it became chronic and
the old soldiers still suffered from it
Mr. David Taylor of Wind Ridge,
