treasurer a relief committee was
appointed consisting of J. G.
Jones, J. B. Ryals and the clerk
and treasurer.
Clerk and treasurer was in
structed to accept school building
warrants in payment of taxes and
amount of same would be appro
priated from general fund for the
payment of same.
A motion to elect city physician
was tabled.
On motion the water committee
was instructed to make contract
for wood to be used at the pump
ing station, and to secure the beet
arrangemet for hauling wood from
rail road to pumping station.

other cold drinks, as sold at the
soda fountains, and the hiring of
livery teams, bicycles, etc., on
Sunday, be repealed, and the
same is hereby repealed by author
itv of the Mayor and City Council.

On motion the election of a
city physician was then called up
at a salary of $12.50 per month.
Drs. W. B. Marshall and G. W.
Shipp were placed in nomination,
the ballots being as follows: Shipp
