MARRIAGE.
Wednesday the Methodist church
was filled with a large assembly of
interested spectators gathered to wit¬
ness the nuptials of Mr. John M.
Buchanan, of Marvyn, Ala., and Miss
Louie, the accomplished daughter of
Maj. T. N. Sparks. The church was
tastefully decorated and under the
soft lamplight everything bore an air
of artistic loveliness.
At 11.30, a. m., the lively strains
of a wedding march, played by Mrs.
B. C. Kimbrough, proclaimed the ap¬
proach of the bridal party. The
bride and groom were preceded by
the ushers, Messrs M. S. Johnston
and H. S. Kimbrough, followed by
two pretty children, Marie Copeland
and Jimmie Sparks, who held open
fiord gates. The bride, leaning on

boarded the train for Columbus.
The bride is a favorite in our so

Lave endeared her to her friends.
Their best wishes for her iuture

The groom is a prominent and
prosperous citizen of Marvyn, Ala.,
