Cotton mills of New England have if

RESOLUTIONS
Of Hamilton M. E. Church, Upon the
Death of Luckie Lovelace.
The angel reaper has removed from
earthiy cares to the realms of everlasting
bliss, the soul of our much loved brother
God has called, and one who loved him
well and served him faithfully here, has
entered into the great beyond and is now
resting at the feet of the Master. The
summons, as did every call of the M ister,
found Lnckie Lovelaoe ready and willing.
Death to one of his trustful nature, had
no terror; “he walked with God and was
not, for God took him.’’ It is meet that
we, as a church should, pay a fitting trib¬
ute to the memory of a life that testified
so eloquently of “that rest that remaineth
for the people of God,” therefore, be it

brother; in his great trust in God when
racked by pain; in his willing testimony
at all times to the power of God to save
to the utmost, and in bis Godly walk and
conversation he has been a shining light
to the church and an upbuilder of the
iaith, and that we reverence his memory
and commend his example. bereaved
Resolved 2nd, That to his pa
rents and relatives we tender our hearty
sympathy in their hour of bereavement.
Sad is their loss, but we know of no balm
