“Ha! ha! when you go where it is you
had better try some to see if it is
good to eat.”
No-Fence. —This district has no¬
fence, and it is certainly a good thing.
All of the cTizens here are well
pleased with it; have taken down
their-fences and are planting in cotton force
and corn there. It has been
for over a year and if it was not a
good law, why somebody would have
found it out before now.

On Tuesday evening last the angel
c f death hovered around the sick bed
of Mrs. T. J. Phillips and wafted her
immortal soul to the heavenly realms

her death six small children have

Previous to her departure from this
life she had two brothers totaketheii

She leaves a devoted and weeping
husband, one brother, father and five
sisters to mourn the loss of a dear
one, but it is my prayer that they
may be guided by the spirit of the
Lord to that home in Heaven where
happiness will ever prevail.

Anchored safe where storms are o’er.
On the border land we left them,
