For the Hamilton Journal. HOME. A writer says that home is where heart is. Would it not be truer Vto say that the heart is where home is ? The love of home is in every human heart and there for a wise and beneficent purpose. From it flows the purest happiness of life. Its influence is felt and seen in all after years. Th^ best results may be traced to the early training and home associations. It is the silver light on life’s pathway and becomes brighter as the years go on. The sweet dreams of boyhood’s home ffcellows and beautifies the sweetest music the heart can know and is restful on the stormy sea of life, Home, sweet home comes in accents sweet and hallowed when carking caie would depress, discour age and darken the vision of a better day. The weary laborer, whether in field, forest or letters, when the day’s work is done returns to home with gladsome heart and with more pleas ure and satisfaction than the benight ed traveler gazes on the distant light as a guide to safety and repose. The best features of human life are dis played around that sacred spot called home, and poor indeed is that man or woman though abounding in wealth and luxury who can claim no place as home. The three most beautiful words in the English language are Mother, Home, Heaven. The first two are intimately associated and present a strong and influential mojtive for the third. Oh! w|*o could forget his early home, his mother’s tender kiss and the admonitions as guide-posts on the way to heaven. Home im¬ plies rest and contentment and a safe¬ guard against the pangs of unrest and gives force and vitality to all that makes real happiness as far as the world can give it. Then have a home and be sure to make that home happy. Veritas. Wwverly Hall Notes. Dr. L. W. Stanford has rented his farm to Rev. O. V. Fuller anu Mr. B. H. Robertson.
