I Ellerslie Notes.
I
I Mrs. Harrison and her cousin,
■Miss Nellie Harrison, of Columbus,
■spent several days with Mrs. N. G.
■Oattis last week.
I Mr. Charlie Tidwell attended the
Linging at Beech Spring last Sunday.
m Mrs. 5 - N. Bussey is on a visit to
Bier parents at Waverly Hall.
1 Mr. A. Middlebrooks and wife, of
ffcochran, and Mrs. Ed. Williams, of
fcataula. were the guests of Mr. and
Bklrs. J. H. Moore, last Monday.
i Several'of our people went over
to Hamilton Tuesday to attend the
[grange festival and we guess they
iprofited by past experience, as none
of them complained of being sick on
their return.
A new mail route has been estab
lished from Ellerslie to Talbotton,
with two new offices to be known as
Ridgeway ond Baughville, the former
place being chanaed from Mt. Airy
to Ridgeway. The next thing coll¬
templated is the building uf a railway
along this same route. This road
would be of gre ’t benefit to a large
lumber of wealthy planters along it#
ine and besides it would give Tal¬
botton short connection with the
Queen City of the Chattahoochee
and give Ellerslie a shorter line, to
deep water. Mrs. Henry F.
