The fourth and last quarterly
meeting for the Hamilton circuit will
be held with Mt. Zion church next
Sunday and the Monday following.

Lart Friday was the dav of the
monthly review at the col
lege, and quite a number, of visitors
made their appearance in the after¬
noon to listen to the speeches and
compositions of the children. Others
would probably have been nresent,
but for the threatening aspect of the
weather. The rain began falling be
fote the close of the exercises, and
pupils and visitors did not find it
very pleasant returning home.

ground at Mr. J. L. Davis’ Monday.

Mr. Phillip Embrv has the boss
hog in the tinner iqth district. It is
13 months old and wil' weigh 450
pounds. Mr. Embry is a voting and
model farmer and is bound to suc¬
ceed.
