We heard a gentleman remark
a day or two since that if lie owed
a man a hot day and he would not
accept last Tuesday in payment,
thht he did not think that lie ev¬
er would have an opportunity of
cancelling the debt.
Mr. J. N, Collier informs ns
that he lost a valuable horse a
few days since in a very peculiar
manner. After watering and
feeding for the night Mr. Collier
had started for the house, when
he heard the horse come out of
the stable and fall. He ran back
but before he could reach him the
animal was dead.
