Ours and Yours
THE GEORGIA POST 4
What makes the
world go round?
Many people feel that
money makes the world
go ‘round. There will
come a day
when money
will let you
down. Money
should never
be worshiped
or honored.
Money is
simply a tool,
used to get by
in this world.
Money will
betray you.
Money has a
way of letting us down;
for money doesn’t buy
love any more than mon
ey can buy joy, peace, or
contentment.
Imagine you are sitting
in your expensive car,
parked in your garage,
which is attached to
your gorgeous home.
You have a wallet filled
with cash and savings
accounts that are over
flowing. But you are all
alone.
Are you happy? Do you
find peace and content
ment in living? Probably
not.
Of course, your friends
will use you; for they
believe what’s yours
is theirs. You end up
buying friendships that
are short lived and you
realize it’s not you, your
friend was once attracted
to; but your assets. And
when you hung on a little
tighter to the bills, where
did your friends go? They
disappeared.
While thinking about
money this morning,
I began to ponder the
things that are actually
priceless.
Someone to drink
coffee with. A kitten
who nuzzles your neck.
A fairly clean, yet
slightly cluttered liv
ing room. A dream
for tomorrow, and
a family who loves
you.
Life is taking many
turns for the worse
these days. For years
I’ve preached the
^ importance of hiding
the Word of God in
our hearts.
The day is quickly
coming that the Bible
will be forbidden or
difficult to obtain. Who
would have ever believed
the craziness that is run
ning rampant these days.
It has little to do with
money and everything to
do with selfishness and
greed.
Today, will you put
your money where your
mouth is? Will you share
it with someone in need
or maybe contribute it to
a worthwhile ministry.
Don’t just talk the talk.
Walk the walk. It is then
and only then, when God
will hear your requests.
Yes. You guessed it right.
Only God can make the
world go ‘round. Only He
knows how to make your
dreams come true. Give
willingly and your world
will burst in excitement
each and every day. God
will keep your world in
check, when we put Him
in the perfect place in
our world. First.

Letter to the editor
Coach thanks school system
Editor, The Georgia Post:
Mr. Foster, Due to recent events, I would like to sub
mit notice of my plans to retire effective July l, 2020.
I would like to thank the district for its support
throughout my career as an educator in the Crawford
County School System. For the past 48 years, I have
had the opportunity to work with some remarkable
colleagues. Additionally, I have had the opportunity
to mentor and coach thousands of students.
As my retirement approaches, I would like to rec
ommend Mr. Nigel Carter as the Head Boys’ Varsity
Basketball Coach. He has a heart for the students and
the community, and would be an asset to our athletic
program. If additional information is needed, please
let me know.

NOTE: This letter was brought in by Raymond
Dickey at Coach Zacherys request, who wanted
the whole letter to be published instead of ex
cerpts as in last week’s news story.
Our freedom slowly being taken away
Saturday is July 4th. The day
we celebrate our independence.
In 1776 our Declaration of In
dependence was adopted by the
Continental Congress.
Signers of this document knew
full well it could be a death
sentence for them. They knew
they did not have the resources
nor the numbers compared to
the British army. Still they were
willing to risk it all — their lives,
their families and the future
destiny of the country were
were willing to die to protect.
So, July 4th is America’s
birthday.
The colonists were tired of
British rule, tired of taxation
without representations and
tired of British domination
over their lives. They wanted
freedom to make their own
decisions, to govern themselves
and be free.
The first celebration took place
four days later in Philadelphia
as the Continental Congress
was still in session. They read
the declaration, took down En
gland’s coat of arms and held a
parade with cannons booming
and the liberty bell ringing.
As the people cheered a new
nation was bom.
John Adams thought a cele
bration should be held from
that time forth. A more elab
orate celebration was held in
1788 after ratification of the
Constitution.
Between those two celebra
tions there was war and death.
This freedom came at a terrible
price.
Benjamin Franklin said,
“They that can give up essential
liberty to purchase a little, tem
porary safety, deserve neither
liberty nor safety.”
I imagine our founding fathers
bewildered if they knew how
far our nation has come from
the original charter. Yes, some
changes have been slow, but the
recent pandemic has escalated
government power and lack of
personal freedoms.
It breaks my heart how quickly
people are giving up civil liber
ties for “security”. The liberty
most of us cherish, was paid for
by the blood of patriots and we
not relinquish them so easily
if we care about them and our
nation.
Some in government
was to track people,
police citizens for
social distancing
and shutting down
livelihoods. People
are being herded like
sheep to slaughter by
elected officials who
are supposed to be
representing us.
Business owners
and citizens are being
arrested for violating
quarantine measures
and some are even be
ing fined and/or given
jail time. The House introduced
legislation (HR 6666) the Test
ing, Reaching and Contacting
Everyone Act (TRACE) which
awards grants for testing and
“for other purposes”.
People need to wake up. Is this
still the America we love and
want? Sounds more like a third
world country where freedom
is non-existent. Believe me,
if you don’t appreciate your
liberty and freedoms, you will
wish that you had when they
are gone.
People are advocating for
socialism. No matter what they
want to call it, it is still social
ism. It is important your voice
is used at the pools if you want
your freedoms preserves.
Olur country’s usual charters
and constitution acknowledged
God’s authority and recognized
that the state was subject to
and accountable to God. People
are denying these roots which
is what made our country the
envy of the world. Freedoms
that make us great are the same
ones the liberals are using to
destroy us as they try and do
away with history to fit their
purposes of a one world order.
From the very start of the
pandemic with the unprece
dented restricts on life, liberty
and the pursuit of happiness, I
and others have said something
is not right. As every week goes
by, more and more people are
starting to see that and some
are starting to ask the good
questions.
Still there are others that just
don’t get it and prefer living
in fear of a virus that is
no more deadlier than
the flu because they are
told to, than freedom.
People, who previously
seemed to have some
common sense, have be
come bullies and name
callers of those who
do not hold the same
opinion on the virus, the
lockdown and masks.
Recognizing there is a
powerful agenda riding
on this virus does not
mean you are insensitive
to the illness or the deaths
involved or that you are selfish.
Some government officials are
pushing draconian measures
like immunity certificates,
microchipping, forced vacci
nations and children being re
moved from their homes. They
also approve of making our
rights subject to the acceptance
of government and technology.
The lockdown is a cataclysm
for a world economy as people
around the world are in shock
at the rapid changes which
have followed COVID-19. Many
of these involve tighter restric
tions of rights and freedoms
with the subliminal message
that a vaccine for all and round
the clock tracking and surveil
lance are the only way out.
I’m hopeful, however that
more and more people are wak
ing up and recognizing not only
the duplicity by the self-interest
of those offering false hope.
Each of us, if we value our
rights and freedoms, needs to
do our part to expose these is
sues and stand up for individu
al sovereignty and work to stop
the transition to a totalitarian
singularity. It is is even more
“despotic” than Orwell could
ever imagine.
Fear mongering is a way to
keep you enslaved and easier to
control. It’s time to take a stand
and choose a side. If you don’t,
you are willing to give up your
liberty, roll over to a tyrannical
government and to be herded
like cattle, having no say in
your future. It’s happening
folks and you just have to look
at history to see that it has hap
pened before in other countries.
It started with the things we see
going on in our country today.
You can ignore it, not use your
common sense and cower in
the comer from fear or start
standing up for freedom.
I personally believe our coun
try is still worth fighting for
— one that is for the people and
by t he people. I had nothing
to do with the battle lines that
have been drawn but they are
there and we do have to choose
sides.
United we stand, divided we
fall. Educate yourself, don’t lis
ten to the main stream media’s
propaganda and think logically.
More important, pray like you
have never done before. Stand
up for your freedom or I prom
ise you, it will be gone. Evil
succeeds when good men stand
idly by and do nothing.
The narrative they are feeding
you does not make sense and
depending on which side they
are on, the law only applies to
the other side, not them. When
we say no more? Will you wait
until your rights and freedoms
are gone.
Each of us has office to uphold,
as one of God’s children and
as a patriot. Take the oath and
mean it: I do solemnly affirm
that I will support and defend
the Constitution of the Unit
ed States against all enemies,
foreign and domestic; that I will
bear true faith and allegiance to
the same; that I take this obliga
tion freely, without any men
tal reservation or purpose of
evasion; and that I will well and
faithfully discharge the duties of
the office on which I am about
to enter: So help me God”.
One nation under God. Re
member those freedoms Satur
day as you celebrate America’s
birthday, but don’t forget it on
every day either.

The goal for most of us (when
exercising) is to strengthen,
add shape to, enlarge or simply
maintain our muscle(s) and
their capabilities. Increasing
muscle size and capability
happens through a process
known as hypertrophy, and is
simply a muscle cell increasing
in size and strength due to an
increased demand we place on
it.
The various types of mus
cle fibers will increase their
capabilities depending on how
we work them whether slow
and long durations, or shorter,
more powerful bursts when
working them.
Example: sprinting vs. jogging,
using a set of 5 lb. dumbbells
vs. 20 lb. Shorter durations
with heavier weights (resis
tance) produce more strength
and size while less weight and
sets with longer durations has
less strengthening effect but a
more cardiovascular effect.
Our bone density, along
with muscle, heart and lung
strength responds in propor
tion with what we ask of it. At
rophy (shrinkage) whether in
our muscle or our bones is oft
times caused simply by a lack
Increasing your capabilities
of use. Our body is not working
purposely against us by shrink
ing our muscles and decreasing
our bone density, it’s
just sizing us down to
match us with our daily
surroundings and what
is required of it.
A very neat thing
about our body though,
is that it can rapidly
pump up shrunken un
toned muscle that we
used to have once we
start using it in ways it
used to be used. Muscle
cells that used to be in
good condition do not
take long to come back. This
is why after about 1-2 weeks
you can see and feel muscle
tone coming back in the areas
that you exercise, if you don’t
believe it, try exercising only
one bicep for several weeks
and watch what happens.
Many of our arthritic con
ditions can be remedied by
building muscle strength
around these areas. If we
looked at the different compo
nents of our musculoskeletal
system (muscle, bones, lig
aments, tendons, joints and
bursa) as partners that rely on
each other to carry out their
individual duties and when
the muscle side isn’t strong
enough to carry its
own weight properly,
it causes our weight
to sag and hang from
our skeletal struc
ture. This causes
more pressure on
our tendon and
ligament areas and
if this continues we
will have pain from
chronic inflamma
tion around our joint
areas. Our muscle is
a partner with our
skeletal system and if it doesn’t
carry its share of the weight,
it’s going to upset the bones,
joints, bursa, tendons and
ligaments!
Hypertrophy/muscle condi
tioning helps:
1. Strengthen skeletal move
ment and capabilities.
2. Helps give our body shape.
3. Increases metabolism (toned
muscle burns lots of calories).
4. Increased bone density, (our
muscles tugging action on our
bones, increases bone density).
5. Helps strengthen internal
organs and other internal

physiological processes
6. Helps shield and protect
vulnerable areas such as the
nerves in our spinal cord.
7. Can help relieve the load on
weight bearing joints and the
list goes on and on!
The two primary ways to off
set physical atrophy is through
activity/exercise and dietary
intake!
Atrophy = shrinking of mus
cle, tone and decrease physical
capabilities.
Hypertrophy = increased
muscle and physical capabili
ties.
We have the capability to
strengthen or to weaken our
body’s God given capabilities
by our own action or inaction!
And though this article was not
about the immune system, al
ways remember that isolation
of your immune system and
attempting to keep yourself in
a sanitary bubble leaves your
immune system unchallenged
and left unchallenged, its capa
bility to protect us will shrink.
