God bless us
How can we really
expect God to bless our
nation when we don’t
give him the time of day?
We stroll through each
day, carefree, right up to
the time we need some
thing. It’s then
when we call out
to God to help
us.
God shouldn’t
be someone we
use only when
a need arises.
He wants to be
our Everything,
our Savior, our
Redeemer and
our Friend.
If He can’t be a
part of the “lovely” times
in our life, why should
He cater to us during the
tough times?
Many children do their
parents the same way.
They want their parents
around when they need
something. Otherwise,
they would prefer for
them to stay clear of their
world.
I suppose it’s a part of
growing up and growing
apart. But it’s a shame to
see so many elderly peo
ple in nursing homes and
nobody comes to visit.
When I visit homes for
the elderly, I oftentimes
wonder how much this
poor soul did for their
children over the years.
And I wonder where they
are and why they aban
doned the one who gave
them life.
God is better at par
enting than we are. If His
child wants Him out of
their life, He will exit the
picture. And sometimes
He allows him to make
mistakes that will cause
scars down the road.
God will not force
Himself on anyone, but
He always makes Himself
available for everyone.
That just may be how
He feels about our nation
today. He won’t force us
to love Him or demand
that we follow His com
mandments. He won’t
infringe on our lives. He
will move on and
allow us to have
whatever we want.
But then we will
also face the con
sequences of our
actions.
Oftentimes, we,
as a nation, pay the
price for disobedi
ence.
I sometimes think
of the quote by
former President,
John F. Kennedy, when
he said, “Ask not what
your country can do for
you. Ask what you can do
for your country.”
I believe this quote
would be fitting in Amer
ica today if we took out
the word “country” and
replaced it with “God.”
When American citi
zens begin serving God,
following His command
ments and do the things
He deems right, He will
bless America.
We must submit to
Him, honor Him and live
lives pleasing to Him.
I ask today for Him to
bless our nation and I ask
you, as an American citi
zen, to lift Him up, pray,
and do all things pleasing
to Him.
Be deserving of His
blessings and you will re
ceive more blessings than
you can count. The same
goes for our country. For
God dearly loves Ameri
ca. And He wants what’s
best for us.

Letter to the editor
Someone who can unify us needed
Editor, The Georgia Post:
I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. I am a
middle-of-the road independent. Four years ago I
thought Donald Trump was a Democratic supporter.
He still is. At his recent rally in Tulsa, OK, he said he
wanted less testing as we would have fewer positive
cases of the virus. Not long ago the suggested people
ingest or inject disinfectants to prevent their getting
the virus.
On both occasions, members of his staff insisted he
was joking. If those were jokes, Trump has a per
verse sense of humor. He was playing to his case and
drumming up support for a second time. He has done
many of the things he said he would do. But he has
divided this nation into two camps, neither of which
can work well with its counterpart.
We need someone who can unify us so America can
truly become great again.

Remembering a friend, speaking up
This newspaper and I lost a
friend last week. He fought a
tough battle but is now in the
presence of Jesus.
Charles Cook came in at
least every week when he was
in town. We’d share a cup of
coffee and talk about what was
going on in the community and
as well as in the nation.
Sometimes he needed prayer
which I was glad to offer.
Other times he was off to an
estate sale. If I happen to be
looking for something, I could
tell him and if he ran across it,
he would send me a photo to
make sure I wanted it. Once
he brought me an album I had
not asked for but in one of our
conversations had mentioned
mine had disappeared.
He brought us coffee which
he had gotten at auction at
times so we always had a sup
ply on hand.
We shared the same view on
politics and would sometimes
ask each other what we thought
about something.
Some days he would come
in just to see if we knew about
something going on in the
community.
I first met him when he was
a city councilman. He always
questioned things, not just
taking them on the surface.
He introduced himself after
one meeting and asked if I had
understood something he had
mentioned. He was always
forthcoming with information
when Kristi or I asked him
questions.
He made us laugh lots of
time. He was proud of his fam
ily and talked about his sons’
and grandchildren’s accom
plishments.
Some days one of us had to
help him with his phone or
answer another technical ques
tion if we could.
In the beginning he would
occasionally write a column
“Eagle View”. He was listed
as a contributor on this page.
Occasionally, he would cover a
meeting for us when both of us
had other meetings to
attend.
Once in a while he
would bring Vera in
with him.
He has served on
many boards and
in many capacities
in the community.
He was named the
Chamber’s Individual
of the Year.
He was a friend to
the newspaper and
kept us on our toes.
When we made a mis
take he would tease us
about it.
I haven’t made a pot of coffee
since the last time Charles was
in the office.
But if you know anything
about Charles, you know he
trusted in God and so we know
where he is in spite of the void
left. Our prayers are with his
family. Always remember none
of us are promised tomorrow
so make the best of today.
None of what is going on in
the world today, makes any
sense but we know who holds
tomorrow and whose side we
are on. So if God is for us, no
one else matters.
During this time it is import
ant to hold onto your faith.
Don’t let anything including
people steal your joy. Our joy
in the Lord is our strength so
be sure and let nothing steal it.
We just celebrated our
nation’s birthday and the hate
spewed forth by some, not only
on the day but concerning the
celebration breaks my heart.
It’s easy to see that there are
some in our country who hate
it. Why they are still here, I do
not know. If I hated the coun
try I was in that bad, I believe I
would go somewhere else. But
they choose to try and destroy
it. It is not about anything else
but destroying us and setting
the stage for socialism.
The silent majority is
a lot to blame. We kept
silent too long. Yes, we
can do our part by going
to the polls and voting,
but there are times we
need to voice those opin
ions publicly. We can be
silent no more.
Our faith is being
tested and attacked on
a daily basis. Of course
the Bible tells us we will
be persecuted. The leftists
have been at war with
America as founded for
decades. It has made
great progress in transforming
our culture and institutions
into the model they want. Left
ists are activism-oriented and
relentless. They pursue their
goals 24/7, exhausting their
less activist and less calculating
opponents, and advance their
agenda by sheer attrition.
They immediately weapon-
ized the virus. The democratic
party tried to bludgeon Trump
with it and every other thing
they can bring up. In the last
four years they have done
nothing at all for the American
people, but have wasted time
and money trying to unseat
him. Instead of being mad for
four years he was elected even
though they tried to alter the
election process, they should
have been trying to work with
him and get something done.
But they have not and in fact
have showed where their hearts
really lie. They only care about
money and power. And they
will lie, cheat and steal to keep
Trump from being re-elected.
Therefore, they do not care
what the majority of the Ameri
can people want. If so, they
would have sat down, shut up
and worked for the people who
elected them.
But more than that, where
are the Republicans? For the
major part, the President has
had to fight all these battles by
himself. Oh, I know he has peo
ple around him, who believe
and support him, but the Re
publicans in Congress should
be standing up and defending
him and doing everything they
can to overcome the propagan
da touted by the likes of Pelosi
and her cronies. All of which
for the most part have decades
of serving in Congress.
I do not always vote Repub
lican, in the past, I have gone
on the person, but it has come
down to whether you can really
trust someone in whatever
party they are in, to not contin
ue the overall program of the
party. It comes down to voting
your morales. It comes down to
choosing the more righteous of
whomeever is running. Whoev
er we vote for shows were our
hearts are. If you can support
a party which believes killing
babies is okay, giving taxpayer
money to illegal aliens and who
don’t put the safety and welfare
of America a priority, it shows
the condition of your heart.
Yes Trump drives the leftists
crazy, makes them desperate
and irrational. However, if
you think without him things
would go back to the way they
were you are mistaken. Their
goals are the same either way
— undoing America. With him
as president, their chances
immeasurably decrease.
We need to wake up and re
determine that we will prevent
the destruction of the America,
land that we love and fight for
your children’s future. Don’t
ever give up hope or fighting
for your freedom. You are not
alone.

Aggravation equals inflammation
There is probably no other
physical issue that costs our
society as much hardship, pain
and money then inflammation.
We would probably pay a lot
more attention to inflamma
tion if we would more strongly
associate how large a part it
plays in pain, premature aging,
disease and death. There is very
little value in the medical field
to learn about the source of
inflammation.. .Aggravation.
Acute inflammation is a
healthy part of our immune sys
tem and helps with the healing
process in a traumatized area.
Chronic inflammation happens
when this process doesn’t get
shut down properly (due to
continued aggravation to this
area or an outside invader
such as too many vaccinations,
continued use of antibiotics,
bad air, or food components
that aggravate our digestive
tract and ones that our body
cannot process properly and
eliminate).
Chronic inflammation’s con
tinued smoldering will eventu
ally manifest itself as a disease
wherever it’s at and depending
on its behavior will spread to
other parts of the body.
This can happen to our brains
as well from a continuously
artificially stimulated immune
system. I personally think it
weird that we give our babies
5-20 vaccinations between
birth and 5 years of age and
think the immune/inflammato
ry response will not negatively
affect the organ in their head.
We need to ask
ourselves why after
1000’s of years are we
suddenly encouraged to
use all sorts of vacci
nations, why are 1 in
80 of our children are
autistic, why has there
been a 400 percent
increase in antidepres
sant usage, why are so
many needing to be on
brain control drugs as
they get older (to keep
them from nutting up
on themselves or soci
ety), why do Americans
consume 80 percent of the
worlds pain meds later in life,
why do our governing bodies
piously fight this massive war
on drugs (that are responsible
for far fewer deaths) while
putting their stamp of approval
on ones that cause lots of death
& changes in behavioral pat
terns? Why has chronic disease
exploded in the past 40 years?
Could it be that the causes of
inflammation are being looked
away from with a focus on
symptoms only?
If most all chronic disease
comes from inflammation and
most anything that effects our
body is from things we either
breath in, consume, or inject
we have to look no further then
this if we really want to figure
it out.
Treating the various ways in
flammation prevails
itself such as cancers,
heart disease, brain
disorders and diges
tive problems has de
veloped into a huge
industry and if the
inflammation starts
to disappear, so does
this band aide indus
try’s profits.
Acute inflamma
tion: this is the initial
puffiness surround
ing an injured, or
traumatized area and
is a healthy part of our
immune system and part of the
recovery process.
Chronic inflammation: is
simply when the above does
not turn off properly, or if
something continues to trig
ger an immune/inflammatory
response over a lengthened
period of time, it then becomes
the potting soil for the seed of
disease, whether, brain, muscu
lar, skeletal or our vital organs.
Inflammation can be chronic
joint inflammation prevailing
itself as arthritic conditions,
inflamed blood vessels stiff
ening and causing vascular/
heart disease, as well as organs
of the body eventually having a
cancer named after them once
inflammation has been there
long enough to be a diagnosable
condition such as pancreatic,
lung, liver or esophageal cancer.
Most times when the inflam
mation in a particular area gets
a name, it has had something
happening to it for a long time
and it has finally come to a boil
ing point. It’s at this point that
it can be diagnosed and named
after the body part it’s originat
ing from.
Pain Therapy tip: most chron
ic pain stems from inflamma
tion and if you can find the site
the inflammation is at, cool it
down with an ice pack and if
you don’t have an ice pack, use
a cold pack of rice. The idea is
to shrink down the puffiness of
the inflammation in the area
the problem is stemming from,
thus lessening the pressure on
nerves in this area.
Finding the source of inflam
mation is like retreating back
down a trail to find where you
took a wrong turn, (before
the inflammation, there was
aggravation that caused the
inflammation). When you get
rid of the aggravation (to the
affected body-part), the reason
for inflammation is also gotten
rid of.
