Adam Bower named to President’s List
Adam Bower of Roberta was named to the President’s List
by Dr. Troy Shoemaker, president of Pensacola Christian
College, for academic achievement during the 2020 spring
semester. This was a result of earning a semester grade point
average of 3.90 or higher.
Gordon State student-athletes
excel in the classroom for Spring
2020
The Gordon State College Department of Athletics is proud
to announce these graduates following the Spring 2020
semester, which concluded with a virtual commencement
ceremony on May 15 as a total of 269 students completed
two-year and four-year degrees.
Listed are the area graduates from GSC’s four intercolle
giate sports of women’s soccer, men’s basketball, softball
and baseball - including any honors and the next destina
tion for graduates earning two-year degrees and continuing
their academic and athletic careers.
Three student-athletes - Madison Powell of Roberta (Soft-
ball), JT Mumber (Men’s Basketball) and Trey Felt (Base
ball) graduated Summa Cum Laude.
During the spring semester, 35 GSC student-athletes made
the Dean’s List by achieving a grade-point-average of 3.50
or higher. Meanwhile, all four intercollegiate teams posted
a team GPA above 3.0 with a cumulative program GPA of
3-28.

Dean’s Lists
Mercer University recently announced the President’s List
and Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. Inclusion on
these lists requires students to meet rigorous grade-point-av
erage standards specific to the college or school within the
University.

hensive center of undergraduate, graduate and professional
education. The University enrolls more than 8,700 students in
12 schools and colleges - liberal arts, law, pharmacy, medicine,
business, engineering, education, theology, music, nursing,
