City of Byron is now open
to its citizens with the offic
es still practicing social dis

GA DNR Environmental
Protection Division’s annual
summer burn ban began,
May 1, for many counties.
Party Playgrounds pick up
rentals and deliveries are
going. All units are clean
and sanitized with EPA

being sent back out to the
next person.
Party Playgrounds has
exciting updates coming to
the indoor center by being
very productive during our
quarantine time. An update

CALL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that, in
accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-540, a
Special election shall be held in Crawford
county to fill the vacancy in the office of
County Commissioner, District 1, cause
by the death of the Honorable Sterling
Braswell. The special election will be held
on November 3,2020.
Qualifying for the special election shall
be held at 640 GA Hwy 128, Suite 124,
beginning at 9 a.m. on August 3,2020 and
ending at Noon on August 5,2020. The
qualifying fee shall be $420.00.
All person who are not registered by
desire to vote in this special election may
register through the close of business on
October 5,2020. Early voting will be held
October 12th through October 30th, 8:00-
5:00. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7
p.m. on Election Day.
